RivRunnersIt was cold and the weather was a little damp but the overall run wasn't too bad. My cousin and his wife ran this event, too which was awesome. A whole bunch of people showed up from Riverview, too. Way cool. The actual course was cool. We ran along the lake at Hawk Island. Then, we did some trail running through the woods. I didn't too bad, though for the first time, I realized how much I like Chip times.
I almost threw up after crossing the finish line because I had to suddenly stop and wait for them to take the tear off on my bib. With Chip times, you can run right through the finish line and slow down at your own pace. All of the RivRunners did an awesome job. I came in 10th out of 41 in my age group. Not bad for the first run of the season!
